San Francisco, March 3, 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n A delegation of the Regional Government, led by the Minister of Economy, Business and Employment, Patricia Franco, has traveled this week to California with the aim of attracting new investments to Castilla-La Mancha.<\/p>\n Throughout this week, the delegation has held several meetings in Los Angeles and San Francisco with some of the most important international companies, in a country, the United States, which is the main investor country in our region. According to the latest consolidated data, during the first nine months of 2022, Castilla-La Mancha has received 173 million euros of FDI, of which more than 116 million came from the United States. This means that 2 out of every 3 euros of the FDI received by the region in the first three quarters of 2022 came from the North American country. <\/p>\n The main objective of this trip is to consolidate the positioning of the region as an investment destination for projects in various sectors. Specifically, the agenda of meetings has focused on three of the main Californian industries, such as audiovisual, where there has been a meeting with Nant Studios, ICT and data centers, with meetings with Paypal and Meta, and renewable energy, with special interest in hydrogen, where there have been meetings with companies like Bloom Energy, SoCalGas or Heliogen, and with institutions that promote R & D in this field, such as the University of California. <\/p>\n In fact, some of the main North American companies in these sectors have already announced their plans to invest and establish themselves in Castilla-La Mancha, as is the case of Cummins, which is building an electrolyzer factory in Guadalajara, or Meta, which announced its intention to develop a data center in Talavera de la Reina.<\/p>\n They would thus join the dozens of U.S. companies already established in our region, including Amazon, GXO, Aernnova, Ball, Exide and Hexcel, among others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" San Francisco, March 3, 2023.
