{"id":3742,"date":"2023-09-22T15:00:29","date_gmt":"2023-09-22T13:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.investinclm.com\/?p=3742\/"},"modified":"2023-09-22T15:00:29","modified_gmt":"2023-09-22T13:00:29","slug":"castilla-la-mancha-receives-89-million-euros-in-foreign-investment-in-the-first-half-of-the-year-53-more-than-in-the-same-period-of-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.investinclm.com\/en\/castilla-la-mancha-receives-89-million-euros-in-foreign-investment-in-the-first-half-of-the-year-53-more-than-in-the-same-period-of-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Castilla-La Mancha receives 89 million euros in foreign investment in the first half of the year, 53% more than in the same period of 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p2\"><i>The stock of tangible fixed assets associated with foreign-owned companies is at an all-time high in the region, at 6,698 million euros.<\/i><\/p>\n<h5 align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3029\" src=\"https:\/\/www.investinclm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Inauguracion-nueva-planta-Linde.jpg\" width=\"687\" height=\"458\" \/><i>Inauguration of the new Linde Gas plant in Torija (Guadalajara)<\/i><\/h5>\n<p align=\"justify\">Toledo, September 20, 2023.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">According to the latest update published by the Investment Register, <strong>Castilla-La Mancha has received 88.88 million euros of foreign investment flows in the first half of 2023, 53% more<\/strong> than in the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Moreover, no disinvestment has been recorded in our region so far this year, so that <strong>in net terms<\/strong>, the flows received are <strong>69% higher than in the first half of 2022<\/strong>, placing it in ninth place in the national ranking, led by the Community of Madrid.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">At the <strong>national level<\/strong>, investments between January and June amounted to <strong>11,996 million euros<\/strong>, <strong>26.64% less than last year<\/strong>, and lower than the half-yearly averages for the last five years (15,101 million).<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">By type of transaction, <strong>reinvestments<\/strong> accounted for <strong>51 million<\/strong> euros, while <strong>acquisitions<\/strong> accounted for <strong>36 million<\/strong> euros. The remaining investments are included in new greenfield and brownfield projects.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">In the first six months of the year, investments in Castilla-La Mancha by <strong>Norway (34 million in wind energy production), Italy (31 million in electricity supply) and France (21 million, also in electricity supply)<\/strong> stand out.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">On the other hand, the figures of the <strong>stock of tangible fixed assets <\/strong>associated with foreign capital companies in Castilla-La Mancha have also been updated, which have registered a strong increase in the last year for which data are available (<strong>2021<\/strong>), reaching <strong>6,698 million (+24%) <\/strong>and marking a <strong>new historical maximum<\/strong>. With these figures, which <strong>more than double those recorded in 2019 (+151%),<\/strong> <strong>Castilla-La Mancha ranks sixth in Spain based on this variable in absolute terms, and third in relation to its regional GDP (15.8%).<\/strong><\/p>\n<h5 align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3029\" src=\"https:\/\/www.investinclm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/inmovilizado-material.jpg\" width=\"687\" height=\"458\" \/><\/h5>\n<p align=\"justify\">Finally, the data provided by Moody&#8217;s for the <strong>first eight months of 2023<\/strong> indicate that <strong>24 new projects have been announced in Castilla-La Mancha, with an investment of 1,778 million and the generation of 1,811 jobs.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The stock of tangible fixed assets associated with foreign-owned companies is at an all-time high in the region, at 6,698 million euros.
