Castilla-La Mancha launches a new digital tool for investment project management

After its launch on February 9, more than 100 municipalities are already registered in the system.

The Minister of Economy, Business and Employment of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha, Patricia Franco, has confirmed the great start-up of the new investment project management platform, which was announced on February 9 at the II Council for Attracting Foreign Investments, held in Albacete.

The main objective of this new tool is to streamline bidirectional communication with the municipalities of Castilla-La Mancha, in view of the arrival of new investment projects in the region. In this way, the municipalities will be able to upload their offers quickly and easily with aspects such as the availability of land or infrastructures.

“This new platform will be a direct communication channel between the regional government, through Invest in CLM, and the municipalities, where investment projects seeking specific conditions when evaluating their locations will be registered. This will allow us to process the information much faster, taking advantage of the digitalization of the municipalities“. The Minister emphasized.

It is an initiative that replicates the Invest in Spain platform. This organization dedicated to attracting foreign investment in Spain, launches to the Autonomous Communities the needs demanded by a new investment project. The regional administrations respond to this call with the capacities they have, in terms of land, incentives, talent or infrastructures, to try to get the project to land in their respective region.

“This is the same process that we have replicated at the regional level. Although we have identified most of the available land supply in the region, thanks largely to the industrial land map, it is very interesting to have a real-time update of our supply. Therefore, now, when a new investment project comes to us, we launch it on the platform to know what each municipality can offer.” explained the counselor.

Currently, more than 100 municipalities have already registered on the new platform, and it is expected that this number will continue to increase over the coming weeks. “The objective is to consolidate a solid database that includes available land and warehouses, both in public and private hands, and that can be offered to investors who set their eyes on Castilla-La Mancha,” concluded Patricia Franco.
