Castilla-La Mancha will attend and actively participate in the next edition of MIPIM, the most important international fair to attract investment in the world, which will be held in Cannes (France) from March 15 to 18.

This was confirmed by the Counsellor Patricia Franco during the II Council for Attracting Foreign Investments last Wednesday, February 9.

The real estate fair MIPIM will return to March this year after its forced interruption by Covid. It will be held between March 15 and 18, 2022.

The organizers of the most important real estate fair in Europe have decided to resume its traditional date in March to meet real estate professionals in Cannes, France, to present their real estate projects and discuss the keys to the recovery of the industry after the pandemic.

MIPIM, the world’s leading real estate market, brings together the most influential players from all international real estate sectors: Office, Residential, Retail, Healthcare, Sports, Logistics and Industrial. MIPIM offers unrivaled access to the largest number of development projects and sources of capital in the world, and brings together all the players in the commercial real estate value chain to do yearly business in four intense days.

With a projected attendance of between 15,000 and 20,000, MIPIM 2022 aims to bring the international real estate community together once again under the theme of ‘Driving Urban Change’.

This year, former French President François Hollande will open a conference program with more than 100 programmed sessions that will address topics such as ‘Cities for Citizens,’ ‘Housing First’ and ‘Green is the New Black.’

The Real Estate Fair will provide a platform for exhibiting the latest urban trends and innovative sustainable solutions, a benchmark for networking where companies in the real estate sector will showcase their projects and skills. There will also be a showcase for the region’s attractiveness as a destination for foreign direct investment and a meeting point for sovereign wealth funds and specialized real estate funds.
