From October 6 to 8, 2025, the Institute for Foreign Promotion (IPEX) participated in the Expo Real trade fair in Munich, Germany. This event is one of the world’s largest real estate gatherings, bringing together investors, developers, and investment agents from around the world. IPEX had its own stand in the Spanish pavilion, consolidating its international presence and showcasing the many advantages our region offers for real estate and business investment.

Opportunities for investors in Castilla-La Mancha

Castilla-La Mancha had a prominent presence at this year’s event, continuing the successful path it set out on with its participation in 2023 and 2024. On this occasion, the IPEX team had a busy schedule of meetings with investors, developers, and investment funds, with the aim of promoting the opportunities our region offers for the development of industrial and logistics projects.

Among the main attractions presented to potential investors were:

  • Strategic location: Located in the heart of Spain, Castilla-La Mancha offers exceptional connectivity with the country’s main urban centers and ports, facilitating the development of logistics and industrial projects.
  • Advanced infrastructure: The region has a modern road and rail network, ensuring fast and efficient transport of goods and people.
  • Available industrial land: Castilla-La Mancha has a wide range of industrial land ready for development, which simplifies the process of setting up new businesses.
  • Institutional support and incentives: The regional government offers incentives and facilities for foreign investment, encouraging the establishment of businesses and the creation of jobs.
  • Talent and training: With the support of universities such as the University of Castilla-La Mancha and the University of Alcalá, as well as an extensive range of vocational training, the region has the skilled talent demanded by today’s labor market.
  • Renewable energy: Castilla-La Mancha stands out for its leadership in green energy production, with 70% of the electricity generated in 2024 coming from renewable sources. This provides an additional competitive advantage for projects seeking to operate sustainably.

Goals for Expo Real 2025

During the fair, IPEX’s investment attraction team sought to consolidate strategic relationships with key players in the real estate sector. It also actively participated in round tables and conferences to keep abreast of the latest challenges and opportunities facing the sector, such as interest rate developments and new sustainability regulations affecting project development.

A promising future for the region

Castilla-La Mancha’s presence at Expo Real 2025 not only seeks to attract new investment, but also to reinforce its image as an attractive destination for the development of sustainable and profitable projects. Thanks to the region’s competitive advantages, we hope to continue to attract the attention of international companies and promote balanced and sustainable economic growth.
