Castilla–La Mancha is a Spanish region situated in the southwest of Europe. Its central location on the Iberian Peninsula provides it with access to 60% of the Spanish population. It has over 2 million inhabitants (4.5% of the Spanish population) and shares borders with seven other Spanish regions.

In addition to this unique location, the region has a competitive infrastructure that facilitates the free movement of both people and goods by road and by ordinary and high – speed rail, connecting Castilla–La Mancha with the major markets.
