After the successful launch of the digital tool for managing investment projects by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha a few weeks ago, in which more than 110 municipalities have already registered, Invest In CLM has organized a practical webinar to promote the use of this platform.
The main objective of this new tool is to speed up communication with Castilla-La Mancha city councils before new investment projects are due in the region. In this way, the municipalities can quickly and easily upload their offers with aspects such as the availability of land or infrastructure.
The Counselor of Economy, Enterprise and Employment started the day thanking all the municipalities for their commitment to the arrival of new investment projects in the region. Patricia Franco stressed that this tool highlights the commitment of the regional government to attract investment, as the region has seen the greatest growth in gross investment since 2015. Since the current government took office, up to 133 investment and reinvestment projects have chosen Castilla-La Mancha.
Then, the director of IPEX, Luis Noé, presented the investment attraction team and stressed the importance of foreign investment for the region, detailing the usual stages of an investment project. He also provided the more than 50 municipalities that attended the event with a series of guidelines and best practices to help them be more competitive when it comes to attracting one of these projects, stressing the importance of making a sales pitch that summarizes the municipality’s strengths.
Finally, the IPEX investment attraction team explained the tool in a practical way, emphasizing the more technical aspects.
The ultimate goal is to have a unique and attractive offer for the provision of land, warehouses or offices in the municipalities of Castilla-La Mancha, centralized in a single communication channel that promotes foreign investment and facilitates project management.
