The international company Skydweller, established in Castilla-La Mancha, has managed to complete a flight without human intervention, from take-off to landing, in a test carried out at Los Llanos air base in Albacete.
The company has thus taken an important step towards its goal of achieving perpetual unmanned flight, thanks to its solar-powered technology.
This is a clear example of an innovative company that has opted for Castilla-La Mancha as the ideal place to grow and develop this ambitious project. It also reinforces the region’s position as a hub for the aeronautical industry, with internationally renowned companies such as Airbus, Aernnova, Hexcel, Babcock or ITP Aero.
