Castilla-La Mancha, through IPEX, has participated as an exhibitor in the 64th edition of the Hannover Messe, the most important industrial and technological fair in the world, with the aim of strengthening the image of the region as an investment destination.
The novelty this year was the joint participation with CNH2, in a shared stand in Hall 13, a space dedicated to Hydrogen and Fuel Cells.
On Sunday 16th, the Opening Ceremony took place at the Hannover Congress Centrum. Olaf Scholz, the Chancellor of Germany and Joko Widodo, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, were leader speakers at the opening ceremony of Hannover Messe 2023, thus marking the start of the annual exhibition.
From 17 to 21 of April 2023, companies and institutions from around the world have gathered at this fair to talk about the main topics of this edition, including artificial intelligence, hydrogen, energy management, connected and intelligent production, and the new Manufacturing-X data ecosystem.
IPEX Investment Attraction team, as well as receiving the commercial office of the Spanish Embassy in Berlin, has held more than 30 meetings with different companies, among which energy companies stand out. The National Hydrogen Center has participated in this fair together with IPEX to strengthen the image of Castilla-La Mancha as a reference region in the field of renewable energy.
This year Hannover Messe had more than 4,000 exhibitors presenting their solutions for a digital, connected, sustainable industry, welcoming 130,000 visitors from around the globe.
In addition to the 130,000 visitors on the exhibition grounds, the fair was able to count another 15,000 registered visitors who participated digitally in the event. They followed the conference program, informed themselves in digital product presentations and took part in hybrid visitor tours.
According to Köckler (Chairman of the Deutsche Messe Managing Board): “HANNOVER MESSE is the global platform for networking among industry, government, research and society as a whole. And it has never been more important than today to share knowledge and ideas. The technological solutions for climate-neutral production are already present. However, in order to secure the competitiveness of industry and our prosperity in the long term, bureaucratic obstacles need to be overcome, opportunities fuelled and transnational cooperation agreements concluded”.
The next HANNOVER MESSE will be hosted from 22 to 26 April 2024 … looking forward!
