The Regional Government is promoting Castilla-La Mancha as an investment destination for the Aeronautics and Defence sector through IPEX.
IPEX, the Foreign Trade and Investment Institute, is visiting the 53rd International Paris Air Show in the commune of Le Bourget with an agenda of meetings aiming to present the advantages of Castilla-La Mancha as an investment destination for the Aerospace and Defence sectors.
The biennial event is being held from 16 to 22 June 2019 and is organised by the SIAE, a subsidiary of GIFAS, the French Aerospace Industries Association. The Air Show is widely recognised for its role in connecting the global aerospace market. This exhibition is the place where multimillion pound agreements are announced and a platform for launching important innovations.
The International Paris Air Show is of strategic importance for the sector, clients and suppliers. The event presents an excellent chance to renew assokciations and sign new agreements.
The exhibition gathers professionals from around the world. In 2017, 142,000 professional visitors and 290 official delegations from approximately 100 countries attended the event.
The current edition features 2,453 exhibitors, led by France as the host country with 1,185 French exhibitors from 12 regions.
Among the most relevant aerospace companies operating in Castilla-La Mancha, the following companies are present at the show: Airbus and Airbus Helicopters,, Aernnova, ITP, Hexcel or Tecnobit-Oesia.
The top 5 foreign exhibitors are the US, Germany, Italy, the UK and Belgium.
